Painshill Park Weddings, Cobham, Surrey - Katie and Tim: Surrey Wedding Photographers

Good Afternoon Folks,

An early post for the latter part of the week as I am out and about photographing weddings this weekend!

We had a lovely summer wedding with Katie and Tim and what a difference a week makes; honestly there is no gauging the weather in this country!  It does make for a real variety for the photography though and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Katie and Tim were married at St Luke's Church in Kingston upon Thames; the church was just lovely inside and I would like to say a big thank you to the Vicar for being so accommodating as he allowed me to capture a really beautiful image of Katie after the service; she looks wonderful and I want her to be the first to see it.  It was then to Painshill Park for a reception to top all receptions.  The organisation of their whole wedding was exceptional and I really take my hat off the Katie and Tim.  I was also so impressed with Touch of Taste, the food was wonderful, the service magnificent and that is no mean feat when catering for 208 guests.  When we arrived, the Painshill Park team were waiting for us in the buggy to whisk around the extensive park for Katie and Tim's Bride and Groom portraiture.  When we finished a call was made to ensure that Katie and Tim's drinks requests were ready for their arrival, now that's service folks!

I am posting four images today, the first is on the bridge that caught my eye the first time I visited the park; it reminds me of the Millennium Bridge in London and I loved the architectural lines, come what may drama had to be created there and this is just one of a few taken at that location. The second image is of the London Routemaster buses; Katie works for this company and they had two to transport the guests for the day, the contrasting colours and undulating landscape made for a striking image.   The third shows what I like to call the wedding cake, again I just loved this when I first saw it and last but not least a bit of romance amongst the grape vines!

Enjoy the weekend everyone and it is finally here; the London Olympics, so wherever you are watching it, have fun and enjoy this amazing bit of history being made.

Claire :)
